With increasing market competition and the growing complexity of logistics operations, businesses are under constant pressure to improve inventory accuracy while simultaneously reducing operational costs. Traditional manual and semi-automated warehouse processes often lead to challenges such as stock discrepancies, delays in order fulfilment, excess inventory, and high labour costs.The adoption of Warehouse Management Systems offers a technological solution to these challenges by providing real-time inventory tracking, automated data capture, optimized storage allocation, and improved coordination of warehouse activities. This project aims to evaluate the effectiveness of WMS in enhancing inventory control and achieving cost reduction. By analysing how WMS contributes to operational efficiency, accuracy, and resource optimization, the study seeks to highlight its significance as a strategic tool for improving warehouse performance and supporting organizational competitiveness.
