Small 8vo, pp. xvi, 373, [3]; lexicon text in double column; contemporary calf-backed paper-covered boards, black morocco label on spine, parchment tips; contemporary signature of Arclair Kerr on half-title; fore-edge of b6 trimmed affecting about 9 words without loss of meaning, else a good, sound copy. Entick's original work was first published in 1771; Crakelt's durable revision of it came out in 1786 and went through as many as twelve editions through 1800. Alston V, 266; Kennedy 6262; this edition not in Vancil. ESTC locates only 2 copies, LC and the BL. OCLC adds Case Western Reserve and the National Library of Scotland.
