About the Author
For over 30 years, Roger McManus has coached, funded, counseled and published for entrepreneurs. As a serial entrepreneur himself, he has garnered the wisdom of dozens of advisers and gathered years of experiences in an effort to develop a clear picture of the entrepreneurial mindset. As a magazine publisher, speaker, author and consultant, Roger has had the rare opportunity to see inside businesses resulting in the conclusion that many call themselves entrepreneurs, but few truly achieve the levels of freedom that the title should imply. Roger has been recognized by the SBA as Media Advocate of the Year and elected to the White House Conference on Small Business. He sat on the state board of the North Carolina Small Business and Technology Development Centers (SBDC in most states, NC adds the T). In his books, Roger takes the plight and the opportunities of the small business owner to heart. The Entrepreneurial Insanity series explores how the development of a few systems can deliver The Objective of business ownership: Freedom for the owner not to work in the business, but to have time to expand the business or expand personally. After all, since the owner cannot ever be sold with the business, it is owner's freedom that actually gives the business a greater tangible value.
