Worrell is a graduate of The Ohio State University, the Sandler Sales Institute, and the Kauffman Foundation's FastTrac Entrepreneur Training program. Four times he has been recognized as a "Fast 50″ award recipient for building fast growing new companies of his own.
David taught international business planning within the top-10 ranked MBA program at the Fisher Graduate School of International Business, in Monterey, California, and from 2002-2009 was a regular contributor to Entrepreneur Magazine on all aspects of business finance, acquisitions and exit strategies.
Worrell has run three successful companies of his own. The first, InfoQuest! International, Inc. is a telecom company that he sold in 1999 to a Silicon Valley competitor. Subsequently, Worrell founded Monterey Venture Partners, LLC (MVP), a 5-member venture consultancy in Monterey California. MVP helped dozens of entrepreneurs design, build and finance their companies. And most recently, AmeriStart -- which continues to help international clients start their sales and marketing in the USA.
Currently, Worrell helps clients of Rock Solid Finance, and advises students and entrepreneurs through the Entrepreneur In Residence Program and the Entrepreneur Leadership Circle at Queens University in Charlotte, NC.
David continues writing on finance topics at RockSolidFinance.com and AllBusiness.com. He is also a Gold Level Quickbooks Certified Pro Advisor, and the world's friendliest part time CFO.
