He's been an interim Chief Operating Officer at a software company, where he led the company to dramatic improvements: 67% improvement in sales, nearly 10x cash improvement, developed 8x new products and significant increases in profitability - in less than two years - transforming them into a web-based company, with a profitable business model. Valuation climbed 15x as a result.

He's built two other companies and started his third to build a "post dot-com" company.

He just started a mobile app company (AutoAP, Inc.) to automate the private party matching of used vehicles.

Prior to consulting, Mark spent eleven years at Global 1000 companies, Ford and Northrop Corporation, where he was an "intrapreneur". He was a senior executive at Northrop Corporation; building a multi-million business unit in two years, where he led 250 people in "line" and project roles.

Mr. Paul was awarded U.S. Patent # 4,631,583, for a software-controlled electro-optical device, he has a degree in Physics from the University of California, Irvine, post-graduate studies in technology management at Cal-Tech, and has board-level experience.

In his spare time, he plays guitar, and has produced several music CDs.
