Environmental Risk Management

This timely publication considers recent developments in environmental risk management as they relate to commercial organizations, including risk transfer through insurance. Following completion of research in environmental chemistry, Paul Pritchard worked at the Laboratory of the Government Chemist, investigating soil and water contamination. Several years in environmental consultancy saw a shift towards risk management work. He has worked in the Royal & SunAlliance group since 1994, with responsibilities including the assessment of underwriting environmental risks and the implementation of internal controls.

In his spare time, he tries hard to reconcile a concern for the environment with an interest in classic motorcycles.
