For four decades, Dr. Lothar Gassmann interpreted and explained entire books of the Bible or parts thereof in his sermons. The result of this rich work is presented in this commentary series with a total of 32 planned volumes (12 on the Old Testament, 20 on the New Testament).
This series is characterized by three features:

• It takes God's Word as seriously as it is written and avoids any form of biblical criticism.
• It builds a bridge from the Bible to the present day and conveys numerous practical pieces of advice for our lives based on God's Word.
• Because it is based on freely delivered sermons, it is easy for every reader to understand.
