Hardcover. No jacket as issued. xlix+725pp. 8vo, 14 plates. Fine condition. This is a two-volume set, in extraordinarily fine condition. The texts are clean and entirely free of markings. The top edges are still bright gold, with fore-edges and bottom edges looking clean and unaffected by age. The spine is so tight that these volumes have never have been read. Binding excellent. A slight bit of bumping at the heads and tails of the spines, and at the bottom corners of Volume I. The boards are straight and the cloth still a bright, fresh blue. Unblemished gold stamping to the front boards and spines. Dimensions: 6x9x1.25 inches. Weight: 1551 grams. (That weight is for the two volumes combined.) If you order this from outside the United States, we are likely to request an additional payment to help cover the postage.
