Item description from seller

Printed wraps, side stapled. 32 pp., including covers. Second issue of this rather obscure journal devoted to equality for all, with a focus on the rise of anti-Semitism in the United States. Perhaps of note, Dorothy Parker and Dashiell Hammett, among others, are listed in the masthead as part of the editorial council of this journal, though neither contributed writing to this issue. Dorothy Parker was rather politically active at this time, embracing a variety of progressive causes. This issue includes essays such as "Concentration Camps in America," having more to do with Republican vs. Democrat than any actual interment program in the US; "The Catholic Bishops or Father Coughlin?" etc. GOOD condition. Some toning, general soiling, minor foxing and staining to the covers. Minor to moderate wrinkling and creasing, with some chips and tears along the edges.
