Millions of Americans suffer from acute and chronic pain. Often they feel helpless, unable to accurately describe and overcome their suffering. Instead of treating their pain effectively, many are subjected to unnecessary surgery or drugs with damaging side effects.
The Rusk Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine is known as one of the best pain treatment centers in the world. Now the director of the Rusk Institute, Dr. Mathew H. M. Lee has teamed up with his colleague Dr. Mary F. Bezkor to write this easy-to-read and authoritative book on pain.
As you learn about the benefits and drawbacks of each therapy, you and your doctor will be able to create a pain management program tailored to your specific needs.
