Eric Flint's 1632 & Beyond Issue #3 (Paperback or Softback)

Get ready for an exciting journey through time and space with the latest issue of "The Magdeburg Messenger," now available in print on January 1st, 2024.

In this action-packed installment, Issue #3 of Eric Flint's 1632 & Beyond series, you'll be transported to a world where famous astronomer Giovanni Cassini is just a kid who wants to play ball. But when he's given the opportunity to stay in Grantville, is it truly because of his love of the game?

Meanwhile, the Ugolinis, a down-timer family, struggle to save their business of making memorial stones and markers in Bethanne Kim's "A Fitting Tribute." As tensions rise, will they be able to keep their family business afloat in a world where few use headstones on graves?

But the real question is, who will come out on top when Paul, Gagnrad, Helmut, Captain von Thieren, and the Inquisitor Father Salazar (each on their own mission) cross paths near Klettbach? Find out in Marc Tyrrell's gripping conclusion to "A Meeting at Midsummer.

And just when you thought things couldn't get any more exciting, Garrett W. Vance's "A Disturbance at the Nishioka House" will have you on the edge of your seat as a simple evening at a restaurant takes an unexpected turn. Oh, and did we mention there's a cat involved?

But that's not all, in "The State Library Papers" you'll be treated to Iver P. Cooper's insightful non-fiction article "Something Old, Something New," which explores construction materials and their availability in this new timeline.

And if you can't get enough of 1632, be sure to check out the new books available now, like "A Diogenes Club for the Czar" by Gorg Huff and Paula Goodlett, with "A Matter of Security" by Bjorn Hasseler and "An Angel Called Peterbilt" coming soon.
