Escaping the Coming Retirement Crisis: How to Secure Your Financial Future

Ninety-nine percent of people who are making good money now will find themselves with severely inadequate funds when they try to retire. There is a way individuals can avoid such a financial fate, and the authors list and describe those guidelines in this helpful--and necessary--guide.

Retirement planning is a critical issue for all employees, especially in view of social, political, and economic forces that could lead to inadequate funds for some retirees. For instance, Social Security may well not exist in 15 years. Benna, the inventor of the 401(k) plan, has written a retirement planning guide designed to assist people of all ages, from young people just starting in the job market to those close to retirement. Using case studies and worksheets, Benna effectively illustrates financial planning strategies designed to ensure adequate income in retirement. He discusses planning retirement income while adjusting for inflation; choosing the right investments; and deciding the best time to retire. This eye-opening book is recommended for public library collections.
