xii + 590 pages including index. Both hinges have failed, book text is DETACHED from binding. Attractive green & red marbled boards, dark green leather to spine, hinges & corners, plain green spine with decorated gilt titles to top, scuffing/rubbing through top surface to leather of spine, heavy rubbing to outer hinges, 4cm split to top front hinge, split half way down rear hinge & across spine fabric, small losses with wear/rubbing to spine-ends, heavy wear through to card at corners, wear to edges. Light rubbing to boards, page-edges age darkened. Pages have one or two slight marks, but generally very clean & in nice condition. Needs repair.
