Good plus. Three quarter gold leather binding with marbled boards and end papers, gilt print on the spine in the title blocks and at the top page edges. There is moderate edge and corner wear, with the inside pages very good. Two matching volumes, undated, circa 1900. 644 pages, plus a 100 page Life of Emerson at the back of Volume II. Ships within 24 hours.
