Felipe B. Nery was born in Shanghai, China of Macanese parents. The Macanese race was originated in the once Portuguese Colony of Macau. It comprised of the union of a Portuguese individual with the natives of Macau during the period when Portugal was granted the use of Macau, between 1557 and 1999 roughly about 442 years when employing it as a trading post. On December 20, 1999 Macau was officially returned to China by Portugal and the Macanese race was consequently involved in what is described as a Diaspora which separated them permanently from Macau. He finally worked for the California State Public Utilities Commission, Transportation Division. For 22 years Felipe attended college in the evenings and achieved a Bachelor of Science Degree in Transportation. He has written and published three books and an autobiography.
