About the Authors

Gayle Roux, Ph.D., RN, FNP-C, CNS, FAAN is an educational consultant with 2ED LLC and previously served as the dean at the University of North Dakota College of Nursing and Professional Disciplines. She is a registered nurse, board-certified family nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist in maternal-child health, and fellow in the American Academy of Nursing. She holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in nursing from Texas Woman's University.

Judith A. Halstead, Ph.D., RN, CNE, ANEF, FAAN is professor emerita at Indiana University School of Nursing, a nursing education consultant, and was previously the founding executive director of the NLN Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation. She is a registered nurse, certified nurse educator, and a fellow in the National League for Nursing Academy of Nursing Education and the American Academy of Nursing. She holds a Ph.D. in nursing from Indiana University Indianapolis.
