A math text for beginning clinical lab sciences student.
Our goal was to write a math textbook that could be easily understood by students of laboratory sciences. It is designed to be used in a classroom, as a self-study guide, or even as a reference book in a clinical laboratory. An explanation of the use of scientific calculators is provided throughout the book and, there are plenty of practice problems. Topics covered include calculations related to solutions, dilutions, pH of solutions, graphs (linear and logarithmic), math related to blood counts and, the fundamentals of statistics and quality control.
