What if your child could talk to AI like a professional — starting today?
Artificial Intelligence is no longer the future. It is your child's present — in their classroom, in their games, in their creative projects, and in the careers they will one day build. The kids who learn to work with AI right now will not just keep up with the world.
They will lead it.
This book is the ultimate beginner-to-intermediate guide for children aged 8–14 who are ready to stop being passive users of AI and start being confident, creative, skilled communicators who know exactly how to get incredible results from today's most powerful AI tools.
In clear, funny, engaging language that kids actually enjoy reading, this book breaks down the in-demand skill of prompt engineering into simple concepts, memorable frameworks, and hands-on activities that make learning feel like playing.
Inside this book, your child will discover:
- What AI actually is — explained simply, honestly, and without the boring stuff
- Why the words you type to AI matter MORE than the AI itself
- The RTDF Recipe Framework — the 4-ingredient formula for writing prompts that work every single time
- How to use AI for school projects, homework help, and studying — the right and honest way
- Powerful creative techniques for writing stories, songs, poems, and game ideas with AI as a partner
- Advanced prompt tricks — including prompt chaining, role-play prompts, and the "think step by step" technique — that most adults have never even heard of
- How to stay safe, think critically, and never get fooled by wrong AI answers
- How to build a personal Prompt Library — a reusable toolkit of winning prompts your child can use for years
- What the AI-powered future looks like — and why kids learning this skill in 2026 are already ahead of the curve
Every chapter includes:
- Age-appropriate explanations that make complex ideas click instantly
- Real examples of prompts and AI responses your child can try immediately
- Fun facts, brain boosts, and pro tips scattered throughout
- Hands-on activities and challenges at the end of every chapter
- A conversational, encouraging tone that makes kids feel smart — not overwhelmed
This book is perfect for:
- Curious kids aged 8–14 who love technology and want to do more with it
- Parents who want to give their child a real, practical advantage in an AI-powered world
- Teachers and homeschoolers looking for an engaging STEM resource for the classroom
- Kids who already use AI tools and want to get dramatically better results
- Young future creators, entrepreneurs, and problem-solvers
No coding. No tech background. No experience needed.
Just curiosity — and this book.
Prompt engineering is one of the most valuable skills in the world right now. Companies are paying top dollar for people who know how to communicate with AI effectively. Your child can start building that skill today — one great prompt at a time.
The AI is ready. Is your kid?

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
