Just the Essentials of Elementary Statistics with CDRom

Robert Johnson and Patricia Kuby present statistics as a practical discipline that evolves with the changing needs of our society, giving students a sense of the usefulness and timeliness of the topics and concepts discussed. While studying descriptive and inferential concepts, students become aware of their real-world applications in fields such as the physical and social sciences, business, economics, and engineering.

Because this book focuses only on the essentials, it is ideal for use in a variety of course structures. Featuring modern ideas and an easy-to-comprehend exposition, the book places consistent emphasis on real data and graphical analysis.
