12mo. 487, 12 pages, indexed. Hardcover bound in original brown publisher's cloth. The binding is worn and damped with heavy pale spotting on the front cover near the spine. Heavy damping to the front flyleaf and on through a few pages after the title page. There is also some damping on the rear cover near the fore edge. The text has some damping at the fore edge near the top running throughout and generally staying in the margins. Text block is sound. The text is toned with some occasional foxing. The leaf for pages 83/84 is folded. Early owner's signature of Wm. S. Dillard. Dillard was a doctor in the Lynchburg / Nelson County area of Virginia. Seller Inventory # 041868

Pages Past is a small used and antiquarian bookshop holding 10,000-15,000 volumes. We are located a few blocks from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Most of our books are hardback, although we have a few bookcases of paperbacks with recent fiction and classic literature represented. We also have a fairly good collection of Eastern Philosophy & Religion (Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism) as well as New Age. Most of these are recent paperbacks in nice condition. We have a good collection of antiquarian books in the fields of Americana, old leather bound books, and early religious and scholarly books. Shop hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. We're closed on Sundays. We are always interested in buying quality books in very good condition.
