An interesting and helpful business pamphlet written and sold by the U.S. Department of Commerce to those who were looking for advice on operating a hardware store. Published as WWII came to a close and service people returned home and looked to enter the business world. Chapters include general information on business operation to store lay-out designs, financing, taxation, record keeping, pricing, salesmanship, and more.
