thick folio, xiv, 238 pp., 26 (of 30) plates on handmade paper; later cloth rebinding with still later rebacking, ex library, covers worn, some chipping and tears to early leaves with no loss of text, tape repairs to a few of the text pages. The lacking plates are Twilight in Arizona by Thomas Moran, The Mountebank by Dietricy, A Street in London by Whistler, and View in Venice by Bacher, the balance of the plates have minor smudges to the white margins but the images are clean and good although each plate bears a small hand stamp to the verso.
