What if the ancient seers were asking the same questions that modern science is still struggling to answer?
What is reality?
Who is the observer?
Does time truly flow?
Are our choices really our own?
And why does anything exist from the inside—from the mysterious experience of consciousness?
Thousands of years ago, philosophers and seekers in India and other ancient traditions wrestled with these questions through meditation, logic, contemplation, and direct inquiry.
Today, physicists, mathematicians, neuroscientists, and information theorists are approaching the same mysteries through equations, experiments, and mathematical models.
And something extraordinary begins to emerge.
The Eternal Algorithm explores 20 remarkable convergences between ancient philosophical insight and modern scientific thought—not by claiming that ancient civilizations secretly possessed modern physics, but by asking something far more fascinating:
Why do two radically different ways of investigating reality sometimes arrive at conclusions with strikingly similar structures?
Inside these pages, you will encounter unexpected connections between:
• Maya and the modern science of perception
• Brahman and the Mathematical Universe
• Indra's Net and quantum entanglement
• Shunyata and the quantum vacuum
• Atman and Gödel's incompleteness theorem
• Anatta and the Markov blanket
• The Witness and modern neuroscience
• Karma and deterministic chaos
• The eternal present and the block universe
• Dharma and Nash equilibrium
• Turiya and gamma synchrony
• The Logos and information theory
• Shunyata and mathematical zero
• Sat-Chit-Ananda and the hard problem of consciousness
From the Upanishads and Bhagavad Gita to Buddhism, Taoism, mathematics, quantum physics, thermodynamics, neuroscience, information theory, and the philosophy of mind, this book creates a conversation across thousands of years.
But there is no attempt to force the ancient into the modern—or the modern into the ancient.
Instead, the evidence is placed side by side.
The differences are examined.
The similarities are tested.
And the unanswered questions are allowed to remain unanswered.
Because perhaps the most astonishing discovery is not that ancient philosophy "predicted" modern science.
Perhaps it is that human beings separated by thousands of years, radically different cultures, and completely different methods of inquiry have continued to confront the same fundamental mysteries.
What is real?
What is time?
What causes what?
Who—or what—is aware?
And beneath all of them:
What is the nature of reality itself?
If you are fascinated by consciousness, quantum physics, ancient wisdom, Eastern philosophy, mathematics, meditation, neuroscience, metaphysics, or the mysteries of existence, The Eternal Algorithm invites you to look at familiar questions from an entirely different angle.
The equations are modern.
The questions are ancient.
The mystery is still unfolding.
Enter the conversation.

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
