The Eternal Now

In the far reaches of deep space, the research vessel Eventide drifts into a cosmic anomaly where time collapses into simultaneity. Captain Tuesday Monteclaro and her fractured crew must confront not only the physics of entropy but the psychology of denial itself. As cause and effect dissolve, faith turns to ritual, science to rebellion, and memory to mirror. When Tuesday realizes the anomaly is not a trap but a reflection of humanity's refusal to accept mortality, she must choose between eternity and motion-between stasis and the burning truth of entropy. The Eternal Now is a haunting blend of hard science fiction and philosophical drama, exploring the boundaries of time, memory, and the human need to move forward even when the universe stands still.

Berns Pen writes literary and speculative fiction that explores belief, power, and the fragile line between faith and control.

His stories dive into philosophical questions about morality, identity, and systems that shape human behavior-often placing ordinary people inside extraordinary moral dilemmas.

Blending symbolism, realism, and speculative thought, his work speaks to readers who enjoy fiction that challenges assumptions rather than offering easy answers.

When not writing, he explores ideas at the intersection of spirituality, psychology, and human resilience.
