Eternity Bites (Paperback or Softback)

Prophesied to be together, but fear of his fate drives them apart!
For thirteen years, Marcus has suspected a prophecy about Brin, a powerful Wyvern healer, also included him. A prophecy he wants no part of. Convinced that fate might one day shackle him to her, he has spent his life in the Lycan military, using battle to channel the frustration she unknowingly ignites. If he can make her hate him, maybe he can escape the destiny he dreads.

For the most part, Brin’s life has been quiet and carefree, except when Marcus is near. He treats her with open disdain, his every word laced with venom. And yet, despite his hostility, the tension between them is electric, unsettling. She should despise him. She does despise him. So why does he consume her thoughts?

But, when a mission to retrieve a missing artefact goes horribly wrong, leaving them alone together, stranded and hunted, neither can afford to keep their guard up any longer. Now, survival depends on trust, an impossible task when every glance between them is a battle, every touch a war.

The tension that has simmered for years finally ignites, and the only thing hotter than their fury is the fire of their attraction.
Can they set aside years of resentment and fear to claim the bond destiny has designed for them? Or will their stubborn pride, or their enemy, burn them to ashes before they ever get the chance?
