La collettanea Europa delle Migrazioni: Politiche, Questioni Legali e Esperienze riunisce studiosi di diritto, sociologia, storia e scienze politiche con l obiettivo di prendere in considerazione queste materie. Il volume si concentra in particolare su tre aspetti: innanzitutto, come l'Unione europea si trovi ad affrontare l'emergenza di grandi flussi di migranti, mentre le sue politiche e le sue norme sono esplicitamente discusse o osteggiate da alcuni Stati membri; in secondo luogo, quali siano le principali questioni legali in gioco riguardo l'integrazione dei migranti nei paesi europei; in terzo luogo, come le politiche di accoglienza siano affrontate a livello nazionale e locale e quali questioni riguardanti la diversità etnica e le nuove comunità migranti possano derivare da esperienze particolari.
