Not dated. Circa 1913 as Preface of Volume 1 is dated 1913. Edition and printing not known. In very good dark red cloth boards, with blind stamped publisher's logo to front, gilt titles and decoration to spine. The boards are flat, quite firm and with a few small marks. The free end papers are slightly tanned and all feature the olive green and white Reginald Knowles design. Dark brown tint to top cut edge; the fore and tail edges are lightly tanned. The text pages are printed in two columns and are tightly bound, even and clean. Attractive Knowles designed title pages in black and white. Very good condition. No dedications etc. Without jacket.

Clevedon Community Bookshop, co-operatively owned, opened on 31 December 2011 and now has a general stock of approximately 20,000 books. Our Bookshop is in Copse Road in Clevedon and is open every day of the week except Mondays, from 10.30am to 4.30pm. The Bookshop Co-operative comprises nearly 650 members from around the world and was set up to stop the only second-hand bookshop in our town from closing. The benefit of being a member/shareholder is only social: no-one benefits financially. All profits are used to improve the bookshop and its stock, and, through events, to contribute to the literacy and literary profile of our town. Shipping terms
We pack our books in corrugated book wrap or book boxes. We try to respond to orders the same day as we receive them or during the next business day. Shipping costs are based on books weighing up to 1.1 lb, or 0.5KG. If your book order is particularly heavy or oversized, we may contact you to request an additional payment to cover extra postage costs.
