About the Author

Lynne Drury Lerych teaches English and film at Grays Harbor College, where she is chair of the humanities and communications division, and teaches everything from developmental writing to film interpretation to playwriting. She earned both her B.A. and her M.F.A. from Western Michigan University. The only thing she enjoys as much as watching her students learn is watching her original plays brought to life on the stage. Most recently, her first musical, Back in the World, about soldiers returning from war in Iraq and Afghanistan, had its world premiere at the Bishop Center for Performing Arts in Aberdeen, Washington.Allison DeBoer Criswell teaches composition, American literature, women s literature, and philosophy at Grays Harbor College. She earned her B.A. from Western Washington University and her M.A. from The University of British Columbia. In 2010, students at GHC awarded her Faculty of the Year. She lives in Aberdeen, Washington, with her husband and son.
