From Evidence to Outcomes in Child Welfare: An International Reader

This edited work offers a framework that organizes and develops the types of evidence needed at key decision points in child welfare. It covers how to use this information across contexts, including situating evidence properly in its context; using basic epidemiology to define populations and problems; locating and critically examining relevant sources of information; appraising evidentiary relevance across individual, community, and larger contexts; and implanting practices and policies in ways that increase the likelihood of a positive outcome for children and families.
