Large-format paper bound. Entire book is v. clean, square at the edges/corners, and very tightly bound with a flexible, usable binding. Book is lightly edge-worn; cover fore-edge has a light curl from apparent moderate use. Exterior edges, corners, and spine are reinforced with heavy clear plastic. Book is durable and highly usable. Interior is unmarked with clear text and illustrations. Two interior flaws: light soiling to front half-title page; and mildly stiffened pages, with the first 150 pages showing faint humidity damage to lower margin only. There is no binding of pages together, pages flip and behave as if new. This water exposure is v minor and does not affect the binding nor text/graphics. It is the driver behind this book's affordability.
