The three volumes have been rebound in solid blue cloth, which may not be the most beautiful, but is certainly neat and serviceable.The three books themselves are complete. There is light spotting to some of the plates, but all are present and one or two in colour. Volume I is Second Edition. II & III are Firsts. Volume One, second edition of 1838, pp.66 with 75 plates (there were 72 in first). Contents include several Oxford Colleges, Eltham Palace, Beddington Church in Surrey, the Archiepiscopal Palace in Croydon, Walsingham and Fakenham Churches in Norfolk as well as Oxborough Hall, Wolterton Manor House, Thorpland Hall and Great Snoring Parsonage, all also in Norfolk. Volume Two, 1836, pp.xx + 67 with 72 plates including Houghton Church in Norfolk, Meron College Chapel, Herstmonceaux, Warwick, Kenilworth, Ragland (sic) and Thornbury Castles, several buildings in Wells, The George Inn, Tribunal House and Abbot's Barn and Abbot's Kitchen at Glastonbury. Volume Three, first edition of 1836, pp.x + 28 +26 + 22, with 75 plates and some woodcut illustrations in text. This Vol includes The Vicar's Close at WElls, Great Chalfield Church and Manor House, The Manor House and church at South Wraxhall, and Biddestone Church. At the rear, alongside a list of subscribers, are two folding pedigrees. Postage may be extra on these three Vols if sent outside UK.
