Condition: Hyde 108 (1a). Large folding, hand-coloured engraved map, 30 x 21 inches, showing from Chesham to Chelmsford and from Guildford to Maidstone. Advertisements to front pastedown and map end fold. Preserved in the original slate blue cloth-covered boards with printed paper title label, with engraved view of Windsor Castle, to upper board. Some small tears at map folds otherwise a very good copy. A signature in red ink on white paper has been pasted to front pastedown, apparently Sir John Goss's? TRAVEL ATLAS TRAVEL. Shows from Chesham in the top left across to Chelmsford and at the bottom from Guildford across to Maidstone. Outline hand colour wash showing the county boundaries.
