"Suffolk" in gilt on red leather patch to compartment two. Aem. Each 6.5ins x 4.25ins, with marbled endpapers and armorial bookplate of a Thomas Merrett to the front pastedown. Volume one: v, (i), 224pp plus additional engraved title page, folding map of the county and 55 plates. Volume two: [ii], 198pp, 2pp binding directions plus additional engraved title page, folding plan of Ipswich and 41 plates. Nb the plate of Hutton Hall which should be in vol 2, has been bound into vol 1. Spines are a modern replacement. A nice clean set. VG.
