- Book 2 of 2: The Wizzo Growth Series
Every year, thousands of executives relocate to Florida for tax benefits. Most save 30K to 50K annually. Hundreds lose 500K or more in the first two years because they treated domicile like a formality, timed equity vests poorly, or hired advisors who did not understand executive transitions.
The difference between a smart move and an expensive mistake is simple. Execution.
Executive Migration is the playbook you wish you had before making the move.
Inside, you will learn:
The Domicile Proof Stack
A four-layer method that turns “I moved to Florida” into “I can prove residency” if tax authorities challenge you later.
The Timing Triad
A structure that connects your personal calendar with your financial and legal calendars so nothing slips through the cracks.
The Florida Fit Matrix
A way to choose between Miami’s intensity, Tampa Bay’s balance, Southwest Florida’s lifestyle pace, or Jacksonville’s value proposition based on the way you operate.
The Network Flywheel
A 90-day approach for going from newcomer to insider by giving value first and showing up consistently.
The Property Portfolio Layers
Why strong operators think in terms of Anchor, Growth, and Freedom properties instead of simply “finding a house.”
The Set-Up Stack
Six operational systems that must be rebuilt within your first 90 days. Identity, Entity, Money, Risk, Team, and Workspace. If you avoid this work at the start, you create friction for years.
Freedom Metrics
A practical way to measure success through Time, Health, and Contribution. These are the indicators that tell you whether the move is creating the life you want.
This book is not theory. It is a field manual.
Each chapter ends with Action Plans that push you to make real decisions while you read. By the time you finish, you will have a complete relocation strategy covering timing, location, network, property, advisors, and life design.
The executives who thrive in Florida do not improvise. They architect.
They understand that documentation, timing, and aligned advisors separate six-figure wins from six-figure mistakes.
They recognize that the real return on investment is not only financial. It is the compounding value of owning your time, protecting your health, and building something that matters.
If you are a founder timing an exit, a C-suite leader going fully remote, or a senior operator ready to reclaim your life, this playbook shows you how to make the move once and make it right.
About the Author
Joe Schorr has spent three decades building and growing companies from Florida’s Gulf Coast while serving as CRO of a cybersecurity firm and working as a licensed Florida real estate professional. He understands executive relocation from both angles. The strategic side and the market side. These frameworks come from watching relocations succeed and fail, and from seeing which timing decisions create real savings and which mistakes create years of difficulty.

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
