These include such notable works as the US Premiere of several plays by British playwright Edward Bond, the World Premiere of works by Daniel Gabriel, Janet Noble, Paul Parente and revivals from Sophocles and Seneca to John Maguire (1877) and Kurt Weill and Hector Berlioz.

About the Author

Mother Courage is a tough role. Brecht has been so discredited his
entire ouvere has been open to question from HAPPY END onward. Olympia
Dukakis tried a MC in Montclair which began the decline and collalpse
of her Whole Theatrre Company in Montclair, NJ. They raised thousands
of dollars, built a beautiful new theatre in a now vacant bank space.
At least she included Paul Dessau's wonderful score, that was
authentic, moving and beautiful, as her MC was not..
