A twentieth century facsimile reprint of this work on the Lewis and Clark Expedition of 1804. Volume II only. Originally a two volume set. A excellent example of this work, handsomely bound in a full cloth binding. Part of the March of America Facsimile Series. The original work was first published in 1814. With a stamp to the title page that reads 'St. Alphonsus College, Suffield Connection'. Meriwether Lewis was a American explorer who lead a expedition across the western region of America, starting in Pittsburgh. This work is a first hand account of this momentous expedition in which Lewis travelled with his close friend William Clark. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally excellent with minor shelfwear. Evidence of sticker removal to the tail of the spine. Internally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with a stamp to the title page. Very Good Indeed.
