Synopsis
The Experiment is an experiment in consciousness - one that we perform on ourselves. It teaches us to extend our perception beyond the boundaries of our focus in three dimensions. The teachers in The Experiment take us on a series of strolls around what they call the "concept pool" a pool of ideas and thoughts that we can draw on to become more fully aware of the invisible layers of reality that surround us and support us. From this wider perspective we see and learn how we use the power of focus to shape space and time into the experience we call life. With practice, we may learn to open a channel to the Knowledge and Truth that flow from the center within each of us to the outer consciousness of our waking awareness.
About the Author
Ketherin Michaels was a teacher, a guide, a true occult psychologist, a natural mathematician and seer whose contact with the Inner Teachers has brought this work, The Experiment into being. As she worked with the teachers, she explored and developed a series of number and color patterns that mirror the harmonies which support the form and structure of the material world. These patterns became the basis for the color charts that form such an important part of the teachings in these pages.Ketherin's inspiration came from the Golden Age of Greece. From an early age she immersed herself in the stories, myths and legends of that wonderful time.Even before she could read, she was on her grandfather's knee listening to the tales from Homer's Iliad and Odyssey.Philosophy, the love of wisdom, was her true calling, and Athena, the goddess of wisdom was her hero from childhood on.As she developed the skills that would take her to the Inner Planes, she shared her wisdom with anyone who would listen. Like Socrates, she engaged her companions, friends and students in an ongoing dialogue about the nature of truth, wisdom and justice, and it is because of her devotion to this spirit of learning, fostered by the Greek philosophers, that the school she founded is called The Akademe. Her partner, Corvus Night, illustrator, philosopher, editor, has filled the pages of The Experiment with inspirational drawings, whimsical characters, color charts and diagrams that illustrate and extend the meaning found in the text. The Primer is an introduction to a series of books that promise to take the reader on a lifelong journey of self-exploration.
