Experiments With Magnets (A New True Book)

Suggests experiments introducing magnets and magnetism, demonstrating the magnetic field and the properties, strength, and uses of magnets

ea. vol: photogs. glossary. index. (New True Bks.). CIP. Childrens. 1986. PLB $7.95. Grade 2-5 These three books follow closely the science curriculum for early elementary students. The pictures are clear, and the print is large. The books are well organized, with good reference aids: table of contents, glossary, index, and labeled diagrams. Experiments tell what to do, what will happen, and why. The books are similar to Troll's ``Question and Answer'' series and Silver Burdett's ``Fun with Science'' series, but librarians who need more science books for young children will do well with these titles.
