Let Me Explain. (Paperback)

Paperback. Let Me Explain. It is a moving blend of biblical instruction and practical experience, offering a glimpse into the spiritual struggles that occur behind prison walls. Based on 28 years of working as a Chaplain, including twenty-two years in the Bureau of Prisons and 6 in private prisons, Grady Zickefoose weaves together the ancient parables of Jesus with real-life accounts of men and women behind bars struggling with guilt, grace, faith, and change. Each chapter examines a parable and how its truth was played out in the lives of men and women who were often overlooked, forgotten, or marginalized in society. With honesty, compassion, and spiritual insight, the author demonstrates how the Gospel is as clear in a prison cell as in a pew.For the families of prisoners, for believers looking for a deeper insight into Scripture, or for anyone interested in the redemptive power of faith in hard places, this book provides both a reality and a hopeful reminder: God is there even in the dark places, and His grace still extends to the most unlikely of places. If you ever thought of volunteering in prison, this book is a must! This item is printed on demand.
