How to Explain the Trinity

When was the last time you heard a sermon at church entitled "How to Explain the Trinity"? For nearly all of us, the answer to that question is "never." This is what you should expect. I would not try to explain to you how to fix an automobile engine. I don't KNOW how to fix an automobile engine. Although I KNOW the engine works, I really don't know "how" it works. Similarly, the Christian knows by a careful study of the scriptures that the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, but yet there is just one God, but doesn't know how to explain that to you ......... until now! Not only is the Christian doctrine of the Trinity explainable, but it can be CLEARLY SEEN, and it can be UNDERSTOOD .... then you can explain it to your child using a puppet stage. Ken Stephenson was born in Manhattan, Kansas in 1949 to Wallace and Patricia Stephenson, and grew up in Leigh and Papillion, Nebraska. After graduating with a Bachelors Degree in zoology from Nebraska University in 1972, he served as the communications officer aboard the U.S.S. Windham County, and was then shore based for 14 months in Yokosuka, Japan. It was in a Japanese apartment in Yokosuka, Japan that Ken came to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. After an honorable discharge from the United States Navy, Ken attended Manhattan Christian College in Manhattan, Kansas and majored in missions.
