Octavo. vii, (1), 295, (1 advert)pp. 17 double page plates with one as folding frontispiece. Bookplate of Matthew Paul Moyle, Cornish meteorologist and surgeon (1788-1880). Original paper boards rebacked with cloth. There is a water stain that affects the inner top corner throughout the book including the plates. Apart from the frontispiece and title page the stain only just reaches the text, but it does reach the engraved area on the plates. The frontispiece and tile page are more affected.
