About the Author
Dr. Amarjitsing Rajput is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics, Poona College of Pharmacy, Bharati Vidyapeeth, Deemed to be University, Pune, Maharashtra, India. He received his Ph. D. from Department of Pharmaceutics Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat in 2021. He completed his M. Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics from North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, Maharashtra. During his doctoral research, he worked on nanostructured lipid carriers and liposomes to manage Alzheimer’s disease. He continued his Postdoctoral Research at the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering (BSBE), Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), Mumbai, India. His area of research includes nanocarriers, microneedle technology, brain targeting, and transdermal drug delivery to manage skin diseases. Dr. Satish K. Mandlik is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University)'s Poona College of Pharmacy, Pune, Maharashtra, India. With over 18 years of teaching and research experience, he has made significant contributions to pharmaceutical education, research, and academic development. Dr. Mandlik completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) from the University of Pune, securing Fourth Rank in the university. He obtained his Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) in Quality Assurance from Goa University, where he was awarded First Rank for his outstanding academic performance.
An accomplished researcher and academician, Dr. Mandlik has published more than 50 research papers in reputed national and international peer-reviewed journals. His scholarly contributions have earned him an h-index of 17 with more than 1,450 citations, reflecting the quality and impact of his research. He has also authored more than Six Pharmaceutical books and contributed Eight international book chapters published by renowned publishers.
Dr. Mandlik is a recognized PG and Ph.D. Guide and his commitment to research has been recognized through research grants exceeding ₹8 lakhs received from various funding agencies.
His major research interests include nanotechnology-based drug delivery systems, targeted drug delivery, Quality by Design (QbD), Design of Experiments (DoE), pharmaceutical optimization techniques, formulation development, and pharmaceutical quality assurance. He has actively contributed to research in advanced drug delivery systems and pharmaceutical product development, with a focus on translating scientific innovations into practical healthcare solutions.
Mr. Praveen Subbappa is a seasoned pharmaceutical executive with over 25 years of experience in the industry. Currently, he serves as the Associate Vice President of Alliance Management at Azurity Pharmaceuticals in the USA. Praveen holds a postgraduate degree in Pharmaceutics from the Government College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru. Throughout his distinguished career, Praveen has held pivotal roles in renowned pharmaceutical companies such as Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Inc, Slayback Pharma LLC, and Bharat Serums & Vaccines, where he has led critical functions such as Research & Development, Technology Transfer, and Regulatory Affairs
Dr. Sudarshan Singh is a Frontier Proactive Research scholar at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Chiang Mai University, Thailand. He holds five patents, is approved as a PhD guide by Pacific University, Rajasthan, and is a life member of bodies including the Society of Pharmacovigilance India. He has received research and travel grants from the governments of Gujarat, ICMR, and other institutions.
His current research focuses on 3D-printed implantable green composites with polymeric biomaterials to address dermal inflammation, alongside multifunctional biomaterial development for drug delivery. Previous work involved lipid vesicular curcuminoid analogues as biodegradable scaffolds for intracellular uptake and anti-inflammatory response studies. His postdoctoral work at Prince of Songkhla University centered on biodegradable antibacterial nanoparticle wound dressings tested across multiple cell lines.
