About the Author
John Deviny, a life-long resident of Washington state, has a keen and experienced eye for the wisdom of nature and the allure of the less ordinary. A self-proclaimed "itinerant social theorist," Deviny seeks to uncover the stories in the scenery while endorsing a more thoughtful and simplistic attitude toward the journey of life. He has written articles and stories on local lore for regional publications in his hometown of Olympia. This is his first book.
