Jedem der ausführlichen Kommentarkapitel ist der entsprechende Text der Vulgata vorangestellt. - Ferdinandus Quirinus de Salazar (1576-1646), "ein Jesuite von Cuenza, aus Spanien bürtig, lehrte die Theologie zu Murcia und Alcala, ward des spanischen Ministers, Guzmann d'Olivarez, Beicht-Vater und König Philippi IV Hof-Prediger, auch Mitglied der Inquisition" (Jöcher). Der erste Band trägt im Kolophon den Namen des Druckers sowie die Jahrzahl "1618". - Die Einbände berieben und beschabt; innen unterschiedlich gebräunt bzw. braunfleckig und vereinzelt gering wasserrandig.
