Many heterocyclic compounds having the isatin moiety have remarkable applications various field such as organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, industries and drugs. Synthesis of some spiroxindole derivatives, with a glance to synthetic chemistry, has been performed via different methodologies using different catalysts. This book describes an overview of the recent advances in the use of isatin for the synthesis of various spiro heterocyclic compounds after 2012.
