Extreme Distance Paper Airplanes: New Designs for Ultra Long-Range Flights! (Includes 32 Tear-Out Paper Planes)

Fold and fly the record-setting distance paper airplanes created by Japan's top designer!

Japanese paper airplane designer Takuo Toda is a living legend in Japan, having won every major competition and published over 30 books.

This book presents a collection of the very best long-distance paper airplanes, including the record-setting model that achieved a flight of 202 feet [61.82-meters]! These high-performance paper planes are all very easy to fold, and fly for incredibly long distances.

The 32 tear-out planes in this book can be folded in just minutes! Each plane has a unique design and flight characteristics. They include:

• Sleek darts like the Lancer Zero that can withstand great launch forces
• The cool Arrow Fighter with its distinctive barbs
• The amazing Praying Mantis with its forward-swept stabilizing fins
• The Shark with its aggressive styling and large vertical stabilizer
• The Air King, the current record holder for longest flight distance in Japan!
• And many more!

Takuo Toda is the chairman of the Japan Origami Airplanes Association. Ever since he was a preschooler, Toda has dedicated his life to designing innovative paper aircraft. His signature snub-nosed airplane "Sky King" was the world record holder for many years. On December 19, 2010, he broke his own Guinness World Record for flight duration with a new "Zero Fighter" design which flew for 29.2 seconds. Both of these planes are exhibited in his own Oriplane Museum in Fukuyama City near Hiroshima, Japan. He has developed over 700 paper airplane designs and written over 30 books on the subject. When not designing and flying paper airplanes, Takuo Toda serves as the CEO of Castem, a metal parts manufacturer in Japan.
