About the Author

Dr Barry R. Clarke is a British puzzle designer who writes for The Daily Telegraph (UK) and Prospect magazine (UK). His puzzle work has been featured on BBC TV Mindgames, his enigmas have appeared in the Sunday Telegraph, the Sunday Times, New Scientist, and he has published books of puzzles for Cambridge University Press and Dover. Several of his short films have won awards and his comedy sketches have appeared on both the BBC and ITV. He has also published academic books in quantum physics and Shakespeare studies.
