Eyelid Surgery: Principles and Techniques

This volume provides comprehensive coverage of both basic and advanced eyelid surgery of the soft tissue in the eyelid and the periorbital area. Written by distinguished and experienced surgeons, the book covers evaluation procedures, surgical treatments, treatment of complications, and issues of patient management. The surgical techniques included range from standard techniques for the general ophthalmologist to complex procedures performed by such specialists as oculoplastic and plastic surgeons. Among the highlights of the book is a chapter on the endoscopic forehead lift, a new, important technique. Also included are descriptions of techniques used by the authors that have not yet been described elsewhere in the literature. The book contains more than 900 illustrations showing conditions that need to be visualized and demonstrating steps in actual surgical procedures.
