Eyes of Time (The Poison Princess)

A captivating debut novel ideal for lovers of queer young adult fantasy, Eyes of Time is a compelling fantasy driven by the struggle to survive in a dangerous world, the result of the conflict between the immortal Hideki and The Alliance.

Zuri wants nothing more than to protect what family she has left, her younger brother, Emin. When she meets the kind-hearted Kai, they finally escape the grasp of Hideki and try to make the most of their new 'normal' life. Zuri and her found family come together through training missions and travel to the Village of Trees, a place with a terrible secret down below, the Orchid Palace, where a princess is trapped in the same day she disappeared, and a deep dark ravine with a deadly spell over it. Driven by the desire for revenge, Zuri vows to take down Hideki, while keeping her family safe. To do that, she needs to get stronger. For now, she and her friends must stay alive and work to uncover the truth about their city before it's too late...
