The format of the envelope is approximate 9.5 inches by approximately 4.12.5 inches. The front of the first day cover has images on the left of Barack Obama on on the Right of the Capitol. In the center are John F. Kendey and Martin Luther King stamps and an Obama inaugural token. In the upper right is a Liberty Bell stamp that has cancelation mark. The reverse is blank but has an opening that shows the back of the token. There is a Certificate of Authenticity of approximately the same size (slightly larger), with a Lincoln stamp on the front. The Franklin Mint sells stamped day of issue/event envelopes, coins, medals, jewelry, die-cast vehicles, dolls, sculpture and other collectibles. For five decades, The Franklin Mint produced and mass-marketed collectibles. Its product line began with manufacturing and marketing privately minted gold and silver commemorative rounds and medallions. In the 1970s and 1980s, Franklin Mint expanded operations to legal tender coins, producing a combination of bullion and non-bullion proof and uncirculated coin sets of both small and large denominations for a number of countries. Often emphasized in these media were influential historical figures or famous actors. These items were sold through magazine and television advertisements. Barack Hussein Obama II (born August 4, 1961) is an American politician who was the 44th president of the United States from 2009 to 2017. A member of the Democratic Party, he was the first and only African American president in American history. Obama previously served as a U.S. senator representing Illinois from 2005 to 2008 and as an Illinois state senator from 1997 to 2004. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Obama graduated from Columbia University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and later worked as a community organizer in Chicago.
